Leading Firm

Helix Law’s specialist lawyers can support you through your construction claims, adjudications and court claims. At the outset we charge a fixed fee to give you an overview of your rights and how to resolve you dispute. This first phase let’s you know where you stand and the costs and risks of the options available to you. This gives you the opportunity to assess your strategy before committing to further costs and risks. Even if proceedings are already underway we recommend a complete review of the case and a cost benefit analysis of each option available to you. We work on behalf of employers, contractors and subcontractors. We speak your language and help you  to find the best dispute resolution strategy available.

Fixed Fee Construction Dispute Resolution Advice

When entering into any legal procedure, it’s reassuring to know that your legal costs are fixed so there will be no surprises.

You’ll also want to know that the process will be quick and easy to understand.

We work with you to agree on a fixed fee to act as your specialist legal adviser to give you an overview of your legal rights and how to enforce them. Under that fixed fee agreement we will review your individual case to confirm every detail and provide you with a written advice about the strength of your case as well as the various options open to you and the costs and risks for those options. If we think you have a good case we will, if appropriate,  offer a no win no fee to take the matter to adjudication or trial.

We typically complete the initial fixed fee work as soon as possible (usually within 2-10 working days) once we have received all the relevant information about your construction dispute. In urgent situations, we may be able to complete work on an express service basis within 24 hours.

Please note that this service may entail a higher fixed cost. Typically the fixed cost for initial advice will vary from £750 to  £2,000 plus VAT with most cases costing £1,000 plus VAT for the initial assessment.
